Default 4*60 and Saito .91 is it enough?

I have a 4*60 laying on the bench now with a NIB Saito .91. How does this combo go together. I think I will have pretty close to unlimited vertical won't I. I am still wondering If I should increase the area of the rudder, and elevator, and clip the wing panels. What to you guys think?

That's the combo I'm running MOTORMAN37. The climb rate is good, but it will not pull vertical forever. Not even close. This is with an ARF and a 14x6. I think the kits are about a pound lighter than the ARF's. With a light built kit, 30%nitro and a 15x4W, it would probably do a lot better.

A 4*60 isn't meant to be a 3D flier. A 91 Saito will fly it very nicely!

The plans show a Saito .65 and all references to flying the 4*60 are with that Saito .65 so if you install a Saito .91 you have 50% more cubic inches. Should be a no brainer.

Thats what I wanted to hear. I had a 4*40 years ago with a Saito .50 that what was shown on the plans also. I had the wings clipped and allways was begging for more power. The Saito .56 had not been released yet.[]
