My neighbor bought a Pica "1/5 Scale (standoff scale) Waco-YNF.3 Golden Age Biplane" several years ago. He realizes he will never build the plane and would like to sell the kit at market value. He doesn't build model planes, he builds duck decoys. Can anyone give me an idea what market value is for this kit? He remembers paying $135 to $150 new. Looks like the kit was made in the 80's. Wing span is 72", length 54,4", wing area 1530 in sq, weight 12 lbs, recommended engine .61 to 1.2.
This is a builder's kit with plenty of balsa of different sizes. The wood is straight, better than I've seen with today's kits. The cowl is made from PVC as are several other parts. I believe everything is there. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would call this a 9. The rubberbands used to bundle the wood pieces are dried up due to age and the plans show a little yellow around the edges. The PVC parts are flexible and in good condition.
If this post should go into the Market Place now, please direct me to the right spot.

I bought one of these kits (Blue Plane on box front)(they also made one with the red plane on the box) on ebay last month. Including shipping it cose me $313.00.

Lightfoot - Thanks for directing me to the Blue Book. I'll make use of this in the future.
Stickbuilder - Thanks for the pricing info. That's exactly what I was looking for. I'll pass this on to my neighbor.
