Default a good scale project

hey, im looking for a good scale project to start in late summer/fall. i really like the look of the rearwin speedster by jack stafford, and was wondering how aerobatic it was? right now im doing some aerobatics with my trainer, but am having trouble making them look pretty. i dont want a "typical" aerobatic plane like a cap or an edge, ect... (i just see to many at my field) does anyone have another plane that i should look at, or will the speedster fit the bill?
any inputs are greatly appreciated

How about Balsa USA's Citabria Pro? It's a builders kit for sure, but it has good looks. Citabria is Airbatic spelled backwards, so if it lives up to its name, it should be a good choice. It's a big plane, 80" wing and weighs about 12 lb. Needs a 1.20 4 stroke or similar.

that plane sounds like a good way to go, but a little on the big side for me...i was kinda looking for a big 40 sized or a 60 sized plane. i will save building a big model for my third plane.

The Stafford Rearwin Speedster is an excellent choice. It is mildly aerobatic, but looks out of place doing anything besides scale manuevers. Mine flies well on a Saito 50.

The Sig Citabria version is a .40 size and a builders kit. I loved building mine but will wait for more flight experience before I commit it to the air.

thanx for the input, as far as the rearwin looking out of place, a guy at my field has a cub (a kit that has a semi symetrical wing) with a 35cc gas motor that can hover. a little out of place, yes.......cool, definately. i will look at the citabria, and a few others.
thanx again for the input
