Default Thunderbug 120

I just got this Balsa USA kit ...Thunderbug 120. Who has built or flown this airplane? What engine, should I build it w/ tricycle gear or turn it into a taildragger? I like its old classic looks. Please give me your views and comments. Gene

I haven't flown the 120 size yet. But I've flown 3 40 size thunderbugs and 2 scratch built 60s size birds. These are amazing aircraft. They can do just about anything that you want them to. IMHO they look better and land better as trikes than they do as taildraggers. Sorry, can't help you on the engine dilemma.

genek: Placing a photo here would be a great start. You can cut copy and past or upload one of your own photos. To have a good start...post a photo. Not just you ...that goes to everybody. Thanks Capt,n[:-][:-]
