JU 52 - Tri Engine Kit - Where to find one?
Hi. Anyone know where I may be able to locate a JU - 52 Tri Engine Kit? I have 3 .25 sized engines and would like to give it a try.

I have a setr of plans from a 1970's build article from RCM magazine. The plane is about 100" WS. We have started building it using three electric motors. The fuse is framed and is pretty awesome. I hope to get my part done soon. I can get the plan number for you if you wish, I think they are still available.

Hi, in addition to the 70's RCM construction article and plans, there is another RCM construction article and plans in late '89 or early '90's for a 84" version. I built and flew the 84" version with 3 - OS .25 FP engines. It flew very well.....nanavion46

RE: JU 52 - Tri Engine Kit - Where to find one?
Hello, After having the plans for the RCM plans for several years.(Designed by Frank Roales, I think) I am finally starting to build the 84 inch JU-52. There is a short kit from Lazer Works. Looks like a good kit, and for 100 bucks, it takes out a bunch of work cutting out parts. Gonna run it with 30 sized 4-strokes.

Hi Blue.
Can you start a build thread? I'd love to take a look at the kit as you build it. I'm looking for a winter project and this may work nicely.

Hey Foosball,
I can try to figure it out. I have the fuse sides done, to joined soon. Tail feathers are built, just need to sand to shape. I have pics, was going to send them to laser works for their kit pic. I will try to get a thread started soon.
Thanks for the interest, I hope it turns out well.

RE: JU 52 - Tri Engine Kit - Where to find one?
Hi Guys:
Just ran acrossed this fourm while doing some surfing. I know the fourm is a bit old but wondered if any were still subscribed. I am Frank Roales the designer of the 94" JU52-3m mentioned here and would be glad to give anyone my input on your JU52 project. The construction article for it is in the Novembrt 1990 issue of RCM. I've recieved several comments and pictures from guys who have built it, all say they like it.

I wasn't recommending anyone, I just saw they had a listing on the JU52. I've never delt with them so i don't have an opinion of their work. I cut all my own stuff.

RE: JU 52 - Tri Engine Kit - Where to find one?
Hi guys, the Ju-52 build is going well. Have the fuse almost done. Have to build up the cockpit area, but all the rest is sheeted and ready to glass. I have finished 4 of the 5 wing panels. Am getting the glow driver and engines installed. Still have to make up the fiberglass cowlings, but it will be all done before the snow melts. Welcome to the post Frank, love the pics. I have been wanting to build your design for some time now. The wood from Laser works is of good quality. I recommend them for a good short kit. I still have not figured out how to transfer pics to a post....can anybody help?
