Hey all.
Well the SSE kit is going together well using some of the mods I read here.
One of them was to rotate the engine on the firewall by 90 degrees, which was easy.
The bit I didn't think of till now was how to run the throttle control cable!!!
I've got the holes as needed, but how do I get back onto the servo without putting a ridiculous amount of bend into the rod which would bind up every time I used the throttle???
Any pics would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance
Cheers

If you are using the cable as you stated, you can route the outer tube from the firewall to the servo with some bends in it and it will be just fine. If the bends are to severe, you can always use a bell crank system. Good Luck, Dave

I thought about that, but can't see how to mount a bell crank without interfering with the wing bolts, or battery pack.
This is my first kit so kind of a dunce when it comes to quick thinking about resolving this kind of thing.
I really dont want the throttle to bind up cause I did something stupid.

Use something like a Sullivan flexible cable system. Drill a new hole in the firewall if you have to to accommodate the new location of the throttle arm. If you do drill a new hole us a piece of wood scrap to plug the old hole and coat the area with some epoxy to fuel proof it. Good luck.

I had my engine mounted like yours and had to drill a new hole for the throttle linkage. Throttle line was between the cylinder and the Pitts muffler. Tight, but workable.
