Default RV4 flaps and such?

Ello,

I am building the GP RV4 right now (just started the sheeting) and I have some questions. I will be powering it with a .40FX if anyone is using this engine , how is the power? I am planning not to use the flaps because I can't couple my ailerons and my flaps so there aren't that much tricks I can do, if you think I am wrong please tell me.
If you are using the FX, how does she balance? Cause I want to ad some reinforcements at the tail so that I can install the tailweel in the fuse and not in the rudder, that system stinks.

Default RV-4

A friend of mine built one a while ago, he didn't do flaps and it flies great, slows down good for landings, he has a .46 FX, it is plenty or power, the .40 FX should be fine. I've flown it a few times, it's a great plane, I've got to get one!

Default just me

Ello,

I just can't wait to fly this plane. Gonna build a bit tonight, planning to finish the sheeting. But I have to spend some more time on my trainer, an old robbe charter which is powered with the .40, just gonna fly the hell out of it.

I love the way mine flys....OS .52 is just right for scale flight.
