LT-25 Build Thread
After very short thought about what to build next within days of posting a reply to Hitecman a trip to the LHS was necessary.
Picked up the LT-25 yesterday on the way home from work and today it is time to try the new yet unorganized shop on for fit.
To build yet another SIG kit. After flying LT-40's with 40 la's to TH75 and Saito 91. I liked having an overpowered trainer, Yet I wanted something smaller and easier to transport.
Modifications in mind.
1. Modified Tail feathers to have more of an airplane look.
2. An OS 46 to power such a Light Trainer
3. The adaptation of floats
4. And perhaps some sort of cowling.

Need any help with the wing sheeting, you just let me know buddy. I'm always ready with a bottle of CA to help you out.

Thanks it was an inspiration just found an old rudder sitting around that was the right height, looked and built 2 more for elevators.

Since you're modding the rudder, have you given any thought to adding a dorsal fin?

RE: LT-25 Build Thread
I'm sitting here on a lazy Sunday morning at 10:30am stuffing my face with biscuits-n-gravy. Pete is probably already covering his LT-25. []
He talked about a ventral fin. Not sure what he decided to do with it.
I'd better hurry up and get over there. Ya never know when a buddy might need you to help put some thin CA on a plane while he holds it with both hands. [sm=lol.gif]

He's already covering. I started the Midwest Citabria a couple days ahead of him and he's already covering that darn LT-25!!!
Darn Sig laser cut kits!!! [:@]
Thats okay, he's working tomorrow morning and I'll be in the shop working on mine. [sm=lol.gif] I got a box of covering and a 10lb bag of hardware and I'm hitting it hard this weekend.

RE: LT-25 Build Thread
it would look really sharp if the tail was modified to look like a mooney. man i love those planes. they look fast just sitting on the ground.
nice job on the build though. these planes go together really fast with minimal sanding and the parts fit really well. i just wish that i hadnt crashed mine.... lost her to radio failure. thats y im going to buy a spectrum. only glitches are the ones from the brain to the transmiter

Sorry for the delay there was a loss of our 12 and a half year old Yellow Labrador Kanga Nicole. She passed in her sleep at home after shutting down over the weekend. She was a regular at our flying field, She will be missed by all.
