Just purchased a Great Planes 330L off of Hawk21 (hope it comes soon). I'm thinking of putting a FPE 5.8 in it, to big or would a 4.2 do the job? Any help would be appreciated.

I have a 330L with a zdz 80 (4.9). Unlimited vertical. I think either of your engine choices would be fine.

I think you have a cool plane. Mine will be ready to fly in a couple days with it's ZDZ 80.
