Hi all.
Just completed building a foamie this weekend - an Alfa Mig 15 EDF. The kit came with decals that are soaked in water and then slid off their backing paper onto the aircraft, along with a small sachet of wallpaper paste to help them stay stuck.
The decals have all had a day to dry, and while thoroughly stuck, they're pretty fragile and flake off quite easily if you scratch them with a fingernail, for example.
Is there anything that I can do to keep them stuck? I bought a can of clear matt lacquer from the hardware store, but I fortunately tested it on an off-cut first and discovered that it eats foam for breakfast.
Anyone have any ideas? It's such a good looking little aircraft, and I'd like to keep it that way. Was thinking of maybe using artist fixative - the sort that you use on a charcoal drawing - but it's expensive and I don't want to end up with another can of foam eating spray.

Hi
Depending size and weather or not you like the idea, if its electric, get some big clear packing tape,, cut to size and use it. only for electric of course. If you have to, use 2 pieces it will look OK for all but the most picky people. Just be real careful when applying.
