Knife edge is fine, does need some coupling but requires minimal rudder. Jerry

How about take the 85 and create a Twin Stick. That would be neat, twin 50cc. Jerry.

We did some Mods to the Stick gear that look cool and took 6.5 oz of weight off. Thought I would share.

Thanks
Buzz

Thanks! I have the program saved on my CNC so I can reproduce easily. I only went .16 into the gear or roughly 1/2 way to ensure strength. Let me know if anyone else would like this done.

Here is the finished article. Took some time away from power and was intensely flying sailplane comps.
It should fly next weekend.

The weather finally broke to let me fly Son Of A Stick. 23 days to build, cover, install electronic and have it flight ready. The second one flies better than the first one with better planning on my part to keep it as light as possible on the tail.

jbarnes-

How did the HS5645's treat you in the stick? I understand AMR recommends 300oz of torque per surface and the 5645's while not really close to that number, sure look nice on the checkbook.
