Hog bipe maiden today
Thought I would post some pics of my hog bipe before I go and fly her today. going to fly this evening and I will video. Started building in November of 08 and finished it back in July of 09. I have not flown much lately so here in the last week I have been burning holes in the sky with my other planes so today is the day.

RE: Hog bipe maiden today
finally flew it today. What a great flying plane. I have a OS .91 surpass for power and the take off roll was about 6 feet at half throttle. The Hog flies a lot better then I expected. Knife edges can hold all day rolls are pretty good. loops are pretty straight, I have the balance forward so snaps and spins were not pretty. I can honestly say this plane will make me a better pilot. I used the throttle and rudder for descent and flare for the landing, I am just used to elevator and ailerons for landing. all in all I am very excited and would suggest this plane to any intermediate pilot.

Definitly the nicest Hog Ive ever seen. The color scheme and finish is awesome.
Just needs a pilot figure in the cockpit and Id say its a 10.
Congrats on the maiden.
Cheers.

Looks great and congrats on the maiden.
Just remember, if she ever flames out at low altitude, just push the nose down and look for a soft spot to land. Don't try to turn back and make the field. Don't ask me how I know. I really need to get mine fixed...

Looks Great what is the covering used?
Was it hard to build?
I've built a buch of planes, including a GP Super Skybolt. But I've always heard bad things about Sig kits.

Covering is mono coat. I think it was a easy kit to build, pretty straight forward, the alignment was perfect without any sanding or carving. the only thing i would change is the sheeting on the wing and the turtle deck, some of it was pretty soft and real easy to put my fingers through.
