If you plan on painting stripes over your flite metal I suggest vinyl tape the outline then wipe the film many times with laquer thinner than use scotch brite pad to put a tooth on the aluminum. Otherwise your going to be very bummed with your outcome. Paint something else as a test to see what I mean.

Aaalomst there... just a little more bro. I have minor fab for the wing struts, add pedals then, it just needs flight trim and final systems check, balance and go ?!?
I'm almost afraid to say, seems like there's always another detail... ("when it's done")

Thanks to everyone who participated !
I was going to help an old friend with a build, I'm pretty sure the thread is abandoned because its my plane, and I still have it.
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/scra...ter-120-a.html
I'm going to eventually complete this project, right after I scratch build an Easy Sport 60 from plans. I'll first frame-up this build then set it aside. Whats next is to complete the ES60 for the new spring season, possibly the SS120 as well. Just depends on school and the amount of time that needs. here are some photos of the work progress before it stopped..
I'll post a shortcut to my thread for these once I get started on them.

Back from vacation and I saw > You finished. Very. very well done, one of the most amazing aircraft-models I`v ever seen. Escpecially I love Your interiorwork. Will You add a pilot, I think it will be good idea, such a beauty and than it flyes as a ghostflyer.
Will you allow me to finish my work in Your tread? Today we added the gloss cover and I had it only to complete.
The maidenflight is also done ? > I hope it works as well.
Best Regards,
Thomas

I have to see yours thru, others for sure following you.
Stay tuned to the new work happening on another channel(http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/scra...l#post12247990), I've gone rogue and will be building Great Planes from good 'ole Don Anderson plans. Needed is one Easy Sport 60, followed by the Super Sportster 90-120. Both are gonna get the gas treatment for power!

Don`t worry about the weight. You will always be at a aera loading close to 100g/dm² (don`t know the english word for Flächenbelastung but I`m sure You know what I mean) > little bit more but not critical. I had any aircraft flown whit this, not a problem, only have to be care about the landing speed, not to low. Your engine has more power than mine so I´m sure it works as well.

If I understand correctly, the wing loading is pretty much that of a fighter plane like FW 190 or Mustang. I like the wing load of a kite. But... so do we all!
I'm new to this kind of build, I loved it soo much I'm going to do another scale later on. I have plans for an old Gee Bee(not the potato).
