Recommended first time kit.
I am a newto rc airplanes. My dad was a small engine repairman all his life (weedeater chainsaws etc). He also does wood work an builds custom furniture. He is recently retired and saw my planes and wants to build a kit. What is your recommendation for a first build first time flyer???

RE: Recommended first time kit.
Sounds like he has great building skills. He would have a challenge he would enjoy building a Kadet Senior or Seniorita. Both are very easy flyers though.

Hello. Sense you are a beginner flyer also, SIG has a great Kadet LT40 Kit, but that company is slowly going downhill. Otherwise, Great Planes Trainer kits are fantastic for beginner builders, and fly very smooth. Good Luck!

ORIGINAL: V-Rodrider1130cc Thank. I have a kadet 40 trainer and tower hobby trainer 40. Dad wants to something different with the same controllabilty. Telemaster Flies better than the Sig Kadets IMO. Nothing wrong with a Sig Kadet. I'm modifying one right now. I've been flying for about 12yrs or 13yrs and I ALWAYS have a Sig Kadet in my fleet. I just like 'em. But a Telemaster, with the flying stab, flies better IMO. |
RE: Recommended first time kit.
I'll also recommend the Tiger II or Tiger 60
