Smith Miniplane CG?

Hi Everyone!

Have a friend who acquired a Smith Miniplane. He needs to know where the CG for this bipe is. Can anyone help out?

Thanks

If memory serves, it is at the leading edge of the lower wing. That's for the Sig .40 size kit, anyway.

:D Looking at my plans, the cg is at the leading edge of the lower wing.

This little airplane is a blast to fly, and lands very gently for a bipe!!

Hi fellow Canuck. Ah, Smith Mini plane. Luv it, flew mine today. I balanced mine on the top wing, no problems, flies like a dream. Just extend a verical edge STRAIGHT up from leading edge of lower wing to underside of top wing. I have an OS 52 Surpass in mine and balancing was very easy doing it this way.
