Great Planes windows on a Goldberg Cub?
 

I have been trying to contact Goldberg models for two weeks now to order a set of windows for my cub. Nobody ever returns my calls. I have had no luck. If I can't find any, I may try ordering a set from Great Planes. Does anyone know if these windows will fit? Any help would be appreciated.

I do not know if the Great Planes windows will fit, but I know you can glue a flat sheet of acetate on the inside and it will work just fine. Hope this helps.

Drop me an email to [email protected] I think I have a set of those windows in my spares box and you're welcome to them if you need them. I modified mine into an L4 and didn't use them, they may not even be cut out yet. I'll dig around for them and let you know. I don't have the windshield, though.

Just FYI since you are asking about the window set not the windshield:

The Hangar 9 ARF Cub windshield is almost a perfect fit for the Goldberg Cub. It's just a hair wide but it will fit and glues down nice.

The triangular window on the side is close, you could probably force it in. The pilot window and rear window won't work, though.

The Goldberg cub is narrower than the great planes or H9 cubs.

The windshields are vacuumed formed and not a flat sheet as on the quarter scale cubs.

The windshields from the Great planes 40 Cub, and the Hanger 9 are identical except that the GP one is made of thicker plastic.

The side windows are different on all three cubs, but you could get away with using flat acetate sheet.

Can anybody tell me where to get a windshield for a 100" hangar 9 cub as they don't make them any more ? I bought a nice one from club member and i am turning it into a L4 but the windsheild is cracked (from handling) thanks:)
