Substitue for RC-56 Canopy Glue?
I can't get any RC-56 glue locally so is there a possible substitue that can be used that you can get at one of the big box stores?
Thanks for any suggestions. |
RE: Substitue for RC-56 Canopy Glue?
Pacer 560 and I have found it in craft stores. Both the 56 and 560 has a shelf life that will out live your dog, one bottle will last me several years. So far I have never found anything at a hardware store that works as well.

Weldbond, which you can get at Ace hardware, is very similar to RC-56, 560, etc. It's a little thicker. A thread a few months ago said RC-560 is the same formula as Elmer's, which everybody sells.

Gluing a canopy? If so I have been using something called E6000. It can be found in the craft department of walmart or in most craft type stores. Similar to the "goo" brand glues. It can be rolled off when wet but good luck getting it off once dry.
