need help on electric conversion
 
i bought an old royal c47 kit. 83"wingspan.for .4o-.61 engines.i know nothing about electrics..how do i determine what motor,speed control, batt. etc
is there some website where i can go for help?any advice would be greatly appreciated

Some motors will specify what there engine counterpart sizes are. I know the knew O.S. motors are in sizes of .25, .30, .40 and .50. I may be wrong as I'm still learning about electrics but I believe it comes down to the kv rating the higher the kv rating the smaller the motor/engine replacement, the lower the kv the larger the motor/engine replacement.

Well there are a few electric motors out there rated the same way as the glow engines. Most people use a formula to figure out what motors to use.

These have been getting good reviews on the forums.

Of course you will also need the ESC's and battery or batteries.
