tissue covering
Is there an adhesive that can be applied to a rubber-band power airplane tissue covering that can be purchased locally at my Carr Hardware store? That is cheap, strong, but light. And easy to apply?

RE: tissue covering
I don't know if it is "approved" or whatever....
but..Umm.. I just use a glue stick found at any craft store or even drug store or grocery store... |

RE: tissue covering
I heard you could water down Elmers Glue or Glue-All and apply that. Is that rue? How do you shrink tight the tissue after applying?

RE: tissue covering
I just tack it down with stick glue and then GENTLY mist it with water...
and then let it dry. there are other ways I'm sure, but that works for me |

Go to www.antiquemodeler.org and check ouy the how-to sections. You will find lots of good information on tissue as well as other materials.
