Micro Telemaster (V2) dihedral question

Hi All,

This is my first post, and I have a question that I can't find the answer to anywhere. I'm building a Micro Telemaster V2 kit, and I'm up to gluing the wing halves together. I've built everything what I think is correctly up until now, but when I test clamp the wings together, I get a dihedral that's twice what the plans say. The written instructions make no mention at all to dihedral. The plans say with one wing flat, the bottom of the tip rib of the raised wing should be 1.375" from the table. What I have is just over 2.5". I find it very difficult to believe I've made that kind of mistake, especially considering all the laser cut fitment.

My question is this: Should I drastically alter my wings to fit what the plans say my dihedral should be, or should I follow the written instructions and not pay any attention to the plans? Also, there have been several typos throughout the process. Could this be one?

Thanks!

I think it's a typo. I'd go with the 2.5".

36 x 3.14=113.04 113.04/360=.314. .314" to a degree dihedral. 2.5" = 7.96° dihedral, 1.375" = 4.37° dihedral.

The micro is RET, the mini is ARET so that I would use the lower amount on.
