Top Flite .60 Corsair Retracts
 
Hey guys, After finishing up college, I'm finally getting back into flying and building.
I have a Top Flite F4U Corsair .60 Gold Edition kit that I never finished and want to get done. I'm a bit stuck when it comes to installing the retracts. I have a nice pair of Century Jet Models that are ready to go in, but there is very little instruction on how to do it. So far I've cut out a section of the spar to make room for the piston, but in order for them to fold up and be inside the wing, it seems as though I'll need to cut out significantly more. My fear is that I will make the wing weak. Does anyone have any experience with this kit and the retracts? Any advice on their installation would be greatly appreciated.

there are several threads on this kit in the warbirds section check them out there sure to have any info your looking for
