Astro Hog/PT-19 Modify
 

I would like to change a few things on my Astro Hog to make it look somewhat like a pt-19. I plan on ordering a fiberglass cowl to start with.

1. Where can I find a trace outline of the vertical and horizontal stabs (of the pt-19) to give the astro hog a more 'roundish' look. The outline wouldn't need to be to the correct scale as I could enlarge them on a copy machine.

2. Where can I find a good classic navy color scheme of the pt-19 to use to help cover the astro hog?

3. Where can I find the round star stickers that go on the top of the wing.

4. Any other modification ideas I'm missing?

Hi Afra,

I have a set of plans for the PT-19 saved in JPG format. If you want a copy of them, I can email them to you. I have lots of photos of the PT-19/PT-26, but they are the Canadian version all in yellow with the full canopy over the cockpits (I'm building the Dynaflite kit as a Canadian PT-26). There are lots of photos on the internet if you do a search for Fairchild PT-19. PM me if you want the plans (I have them in GIF format as well).
