Regular CA Glue or Foam Safe Glue ?
I just received a new "Bixler" and will start assembling today. Can anyone tell me whether I should use regular CA glue or should I be using a "foam safe glue" ? The booklet that comes with it doesn't say whichto use. Thanks for the help.

Is it foam and, if so, what type? Who makes it?

RE: Regular CA Glue or Foam Safe Glue ?
Just looked it up. Try Uhu POR (best!), gorilla white glue (water-based polyurethane), Welder's glue (very good, at a home center or Wally World), or the glue Yardbird RC sells. Foam-safe CA doesn't work that well, doesn't stick as well and gets brittle. Epoxy isn't recommended for the same reasons.

RE: Regular CA Glue or Foam Safe Glue ?
If eddie looked it up then I will gather it is a foam plane from the glues he is suggesting. I use Elmers, titebond or the wood glue tower sells for sheeting foam wings. I don't assemble too many foamies and haven't heard of some of the glues eddie posted but I'm sure he has tried them so they must be safe. The CA does become brittle and epoxy is a bit heavy. Gorilla glue expands but holds well. I have used it on foam repairs where the expansion is a big help.
