RCM plans...never again!
 

I know there have been countless threads on this topic, but I just wanted to share my story. I recently ordered some senior telemaster plans, that was 5 weeks ago. Not only have I NOT received the plans, they took my money right after I ordered the plans and my order hasn't been processed or anything. I called the "toll free" number, it has been disconnected, so I called the other phone number, it rings and rings, than beeps and beeps, than automatically hangs up. This website is a crime and scam, advertising products and taking money and not shipping out what people pay for. I am tempted to get involved from a legal standpoint but living several states away from Oregon, I just figure I will get the word out as much as possible so more people don't get ripped off, and hopefully someday their business gets shut down for good. There are too many people in this hobby in particular who scam, unfortunately, so we all have to look out for that.

It totally stinks that you got scammed by RCM Plans. It's a sad day to see something that used to be a backbone of the hobby now become pitfall for those of us trying to get plans for the planes we want to build. I doubt that you're going to get any resolution on your situation with the plans service as many before you have tried as well. However, as a minor consolation I do have a small "prize" for you. Recently I found a site that has a pretty good collection of plans available for download. Now normally I am the the first one to step up and protect copyrighted plans and tell people that they shouldn't be violating copyrights in this manner. But in the case of RCM plans I have no such moral hurdles, but rather I wish that EVERY plan of RCM was available free like they are on this side so that nobody would get burned like you did.

However, on this site that I have found they have the original Senior Telemaster plans from RCM available for download. They don't have the construction article available, but an experienced modeler should be able to figure it out.

Everybody that has had there money stolen from RCM Magazine needs to follow this link to make a complaint.

If the Attorney General of Oregon gets enough of them they will do something about it.

When you commit a criminal act across state lines it amplifies the penalties and makes it a federal crime as well. So they are breaking state law as well as federal law.

If you paid by credit card you can make a complaint to them and you will eventually get your money refunded. That's what I did.
