I haven't been here for a while and I just found out. Sorry if its already been discussed.

I'm took a year off from flying and getting back into the hobby I needed some wood so after going to Balsa USA.com, I see they have brought back the famous and popular Phaeton bi plane and Smoothie plane (kits). I have both and they fly great.

I'm building a Phaeton at the moment.

Tom. Hey we are just about neighbors. Is yours the 40 size? Is it a new kit from balsa USA? I have a old Pheaton kit and it looks different. The nose cheeks are different and also the cabaines. Yours are wire and mine are hard wood. What size motor are you using? I have a 46 AX on mine and it flys great.

Do you fly with that RC group up there? I visited them while on vacation a couple years ago when they were on Renny school road (something like that) . Had a good time visiting.

I'm building an old kit. How old, I don't know.

The box says that it requires a 40-60 for power. I'll use a .91 4 stroke.
