GP extra 300S 60 - optimum power? (maximum?)

...
I have Great Planes Extra 300S, 60 sized, kit here that it looks like I am going to have to build. It is up for sale, but have no takers ... yet. Time is running out on the sale as my nose is getting itchy for balsa dust.

If I do build it, I am needing to decide on what power to put up front. In my engine box here I have a Saito FA150, ASP 91FS(4s), and a Thunder Tiger 61 Pro. I could pick up an alternate used/bargain engine if need be.

Here is my question(s):
I am a solid intermediate flyer. I will not be doing any significant 3D type stuff. I do like to sometimes float on the prop (hover at 75% throttle) in the wind tho. I also like and need having extra power to comfortably pull out of a maneuver error.

In other words, I want to have power to do all sport maneuvers plus a bit extra authority for saves out of the stupid maneuvers. However, I do not want/need to be ridiculous to the point of screwing up the inherent aerobatics of the plane.

Given the choices of engines I have on hand, which one would you put in this Extra 300S? Is there a better engine match that I am currently missing, example a ST G90?

PS: (what is the maximum engine you have ever seen mounted in the nose of the Great Planes Extra 300S (60) airplane kit?)

Face,

ASP 91 4s with what you have. Looking to put DLE 20 in my CG Extra 300 myself. Just my .02. Jeff

Thanks! If I do finally build the plane, I will go with the 91FS. If I am not happy I will swap it out to a 90 2 stroke.

I haven't built it yet, still thinking it over. Any other comments, folks?
