Engine choice for 1/3 scale J3 Cub

I'm building a Balsa USA J3 1/3 scale cub and looking for engine suggestions. I have a DA 100 I was planning to use but can't get a glass cowl with out the dummy engines so looking for engines that will fit the cowl with out cutting any away. Any ideas and maybe a few pictures would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

A Zenoah 62 was, and is a good choice for a 1/3 Cub.

Mrhud,
Back in the old days guys flew them with quadra 40's. Today it's all about big engines. You hear guys say I want more power if
I get into trouble. I never bought into that. If it were mine I wouldn't go bigger than a DLE55 simply because you can't really find
a 40 these days. I might be temped to go with a DLE35. I like to fly Cubs off the wing, nothing sweeter than low and slow.

I'd consider the DLE55RA. It's rear exhaust and rear carb will give you a clean cowl.

I like me a clean gal, oh my bad he said cowl.

A DLE 55 RA can be put in your cowl very cleanly, other rear carb'ed engines will fit also but know that a side muffler will fit also. Tower Hobby has a side muffler that fits a DLE 55 side exhaust very nice, made by J-tech and I have one in a 1/5 scale TF Mustang that's smaller at the cowl than that of the 1/3 scale J3.

Even a DLE-55 side exhaust with a pitts muffler fits completely inside the cowl

Thanks for all the suggestions and pictures. I think I will go with the DLE55 RA I like the idea of not having to cut the cowl

Did u look at fiberglass specialties?

Fiberglass soecialties has a busa cub cowl without the engine detail. Whe were you looking for a bare cowl at? I am on my second 1/3 busa cub. Both have had g 62 on them. If built light they will keep flying with 3 clicks above idle on the trim.. A 100 would be awesome with some mods.. But if you just want to sport fly. A 50-60 cc is fine.. I may put an old zdz80 on my next one as they are really light and just a bit more power would be nice the way i fly. A 70 twin would be good too..

OS Pegasus, 54cc and don't need dummy cylinders. Friend here has one and flies beautifully on the Pegasus, been to a couple worlds with it some years ago and placed very well.

I second the Pegasus, hovering a Cub just plain sucks.
