Sig 1/4 scale engine size

I am going to purchase a sig 1/4 scale piper cub that I intend to fly on floats. I have two engines that I am considering, a Zenoah G26, and a DLE 35. I know both are different in hp, and the G26 is much heavier, but which one would give me the best chance at a sucsessful performance? Heavy isn't good but an overpowered aircraft isn't good either, any thoughts?

You'll have to cut the cowl extensively, if you want to use the G-26. A rear carb, rear exhaust engine will be a better choice.

A lot of people are getting away from glow but I have an OS 1.20 4 stroke on mine.

Hi!
A 1.20 four stroke glow is just perfect for that plane!

On a deal I couldn't refuse, I'm putting a Saito 182 twin in my clipped wing.
