NEW Evolution .46NT
I was wondering if anyone knows anyhting about the new Evolution .46NT It was in the January 2004 edition of Model Aviation
i wanna build the Extra 300S from Great Planes http://greatplanes.com/airplanes/gpma0235.html and it is a .40-.50 kit and this seems good. I like some of the features like the plug tilting away from the prop and the power, and the looks! it is awesome!!! i can;t find any pictures of it on internet, but i did find it in the Magazine. Anywho, i just wanted to know if anyone has this engine and how it performs P.S. It also says no break-in??? i never heard of that but sounds good |
RE: NEW Evolution .46NT
I can't speak for the Evo 46, but I did the review for the evo trainer system:

RE: NEW Evolution .46NT
Mudsurfer, There at least 3 of the Evolution motors flying regularly at our club field, two .40s and a .60. The reports are very favorable, easy starting, good reliable power. I just asked our chief instructor about them because I'm thinking of putting the .60 in my new Starduster. Our people are all having good luck with them. Of course they are still too new to have any long-term history.
