Midwest extra 300
Hi
I am currently looking for a new scale aerobatic model around 80" wingspan and it seems that there is only the Midwest extra 300 XS which fits that size. I would appreciate to have some info on the kit contents, quality, type of construction etc. and flying characteristics thanks |
New Kit 82" Extra
Those of you looking for a new Extra, theres one being imported from Argentina, Fully sheeted foam wings, laser cut fuse, foam stabs and Rudder and Fin all for 250.00 from Planes Plus on the internet. Don is gone to the Joe Nall for the week but he will ship them when he gets back. I looked at these at the Toledo show and was quite impresssed...we'll see :)

MW Extra

Here is a pic of my MW Extra and H9 Extra. The MW is on the right and is about 5 years old. It is way over powered by a Moki 1.8 with a weight of just a tad over 11lbs. I built several of these birds and all of them build very easy. I can usually have one framed up and ready to cover in about two weeks. If something happens to this one I will not build another one but not because there is anything wrong with it just a little to small for what I fly now. If you want some lighting tips email me off RCU. Like I said I built several of these and non of them where over 13 lbs.

Midwest extra 300
I've just finished my extra. Its got the moki 210 on it. Just over 13# with any major mods. Best flying plane I've flown. Vert is forever. Knife edge requires only top rudder. You won't be sorry with this kit
