RE: Sig Astro Hog Throws & CG?
Hey
The astro hog is one of the best flying planes you'll ever have...just guess on the throw surfaces...just dont over do it. Its just another sport plane...no need to be critical. Dad has one for 4 years. He still has the same fuse 10 years later but a different wing . Still flys great. Figure the CG 33% of the chord. In other words 1/3 of the wing chords total length back from the leading edge. If your bent on specific detail email me and ill get them for you. |
RE: Sig Astro Hog Throws & CG?
I had a Hog built and the manual/plans/etc got lost in the mail on the way back. I sent an email to Sig on a Sunday afternoon and by about 10 Monday morning had this response back.
===================== Hi Carrell, Thanks for using Sig products. The CG is 3-5/8" back of leading edge at the root. Have model inverted. throws: Ail- 3/8" up and down Rud- 1" left and right Ele- 3/4" up and down For the OS 70 use the 13 x 6 prop. Regards, Justin Van Dee Sig mfg. ===================== I am very impressed that they got the info to me so fast. |
