15 or 25 size 4* kit?

Does anyone know if a kit exists like the 4* design but in a 15 or 25 size? DJ

It seems while we have all been bemoaning the fact that ARFs are taking over the world kit manufactures have practically killed the mid sized market. The McDonalds super size it craze is spreading! :) :)
MRC has a LAZER SEDUCTION .25 which looks interesting.

WHY NOT REDUCE A 4* PLAN TOO 48 INCH SPAN AND BUILD YOUR OWN?
A FELLOW CLUB MEMBER DESIGNED ONE SEVERAL YEARS AGO. VERY SIMILIAR BUT NOT A COPY OF 4*. WE BUILT 3 OF THEM, NICE FLYING PLANE. IT WAS A FRED REESE SIMPLE TAYLORCRAFT WING AND A SORTA 4* FUSE . 48 INCH WING, ABOUT
54 OZ WEIGHT WITH A OS 25.

JUST REMEMBERED THE "WICKED WANDA" PLAN IN RCM IS VERY CLOSE TO A 4* BUT IN A .15 SIZE. THOUGHT ABOUT BUILDING ONE BUT NO TIME NOW!!! SCRATCH BUILDING FROM PLANS GETS YOU NEARLY ANYTHING YOU WANT!!!

I believe Model Builder had a Bingo 25. Doc Matthews designed it. It is very similar to a 4*. Should fit the bill. I believe Bill Northrup has all of thier plans for sale.

Yup, there are plans but did anybody find any kits?

To all who responded, Thanks for all your input. I must agree as an old kit builder the ARF craze has taken the incentive away for manufactures to risk capital on .15-.25 size kits. The .25 seduction is tempting but a little beyond my flying interests and abilities. Regarding the post about "Wicked Wanda"....I do have those plans. Just hoping someone made a kit version. The hobby certainly has changed sine 1975 when I built my first Sig Kadet.

Make the Sig LT25 a straight wing or better yet bash it into a low wing!

Check out Northeast Aerodynamics Sport Air 25.

I haven't built one but William Robison is always raving about the build quality of the Twin Star that's put out by the same company.

It doesn't look like the 4* but the Phoenix Models Sonic .25 low ARF looks interesting. Tower says they will have some this month.

Yeah, Tower hobbies also said they will have some sonics at the end of Feb. Now they say end of March. Well it is the end of March and my sonic is still on back order.

It turns out that there was a kit for a 4-20 by Doc Mathews. This is mentioned in the May 2004 issue of Flying Models. A modeler wrote to say that he had the Ace kit in his collection. Surprising that it is so little known today.
