Sig senior engine choice

Would a os 4s .48 be enough for a sig senior? I am building one and I am wondering if this will be enough power.

I flew mine with a Saito .45 then did an aileron wing and went up to a .56 the .48 should be fine just remember keep it light.
Mine was 5 1/2 lbs with the stock wing

I've got a Saito 45 in my Senior. It has ailerons and the wing tips removed. It has also gained weight with a few crash repairs. It doesn't have an excess of power, but flys good. I did have a 46 2 stroke and I like the 4 stroke better. I am going to try a Saito 65 on it next if it isn't to much trouble.

I had a Saito 65 on mine, it's a lot more fun.

Also converted wing with ailerons and wing bolts, tail dragger etc.
