Pumped Northstar
 

I am building an Northstar and in the effort to keep it light I am considering using a mid mounted tank and a pump. It is almost a meter from the tank to the engine.

Can anybody outline how such a puppy would be plumbed?
Does the pump go in the body or the nacelle?
Is pipe pressure to the main tank needed?
Or, can one one just use straight pressure and a small reserve tank like the heli guys?

Look at the Perry VP-20. It mounts to the back of your engine, and no pressure is needed.

You mighyt also think about a mini servo in teh engine bay, to get rid of the 48" throttle cable!

This plane seems to alway build tail heavy. Move teh radio gear as far forward as you can! Add noze weight as teh earliest convinience!
