RE: RV-4 progress
Hey! I was thinking about getting my first kit. Do you think that this kit could be built by a first timer or do you think you need more time kitting. Write some articles on how it went.

RE: RV-4 progress
I have build one as a second kit. I found it very easy to build, it's not perfect for a first build but it's ok I think.
There are just lots of things you learn by building kits, you will make some mistakes (that's mostlikely) but everyone has that. It would be good to have someone with experience to help you, that will make it easiere. The manual is very detailed, with much pics and good explanation. Just make sure you don't build to left sides, also, watch out because the fuse it build upside down (or atleast I think it was). Just double check everything before you put glue on it, regularly have it checked out by your instructor or someone that can help. Have a good time building;) |
RE: RV-4 progress
To 777, Looks good so far. Double check your wing incidence on both sides. I've built three so far, [actually, four, this last being an RV-6a, the one before, an RV-8 conversion of the GP kit. What size engine you going to use? How about a color scheme. This [to me] is one of the more fun kits to build, lets see it when your done. MormonMike.:D
