HOGBIPE PUSHRODS

Has anyone had any trouble with the nylon pushrods that come stock with the HOGBIPE? If so did you replace them? And with what?

I haven't built the Sig Hog Bipe yet, it's still in the box. However, if they are the nylon push rods that are in the Sig Something Extra, I used the outer sleeve and ran 2-56 steel rods through them. I have had nylon rods on my Sig 4*60 and always had problems with the temperature changes. I was always re-trimming. I also removed the nylon inner rod on the 4* and used replacement steel.

Same thing here, I started installing them in my SE, and gave up when they started getting to stiff, I just ran a 2/56 rod through the tube.

The Hog-Bipe plastic tubes work fine, keep 'em straight as possible.

I mounted my elevator servo in the tail under the elevator and used a pull pull system for the rudder. Balanced with no lead using a Saito 91.
