Hello all. I've read through the threads prior to asking this question, so I hope I haven't missed anything. (I know how annoying repeated qestions from newbies can be.)

Does anyone know of a kit for the Super Solution other than the Giant Scale one? (I cannot remember the company name that is offering it, but it was discussed in June.) I'm looking for something in the .40 - .60 range.

If not, where do I start looking for plans of the original plane, so I can custome build one?

I ordered the giant scale version from Northwest Hobby Technologies. While looking for some reference material, numerous searches around the internet, I never came up with a smaller version. That doesn't mean there isn't one out there, but good luck finding one.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I was afraid of. I can't even find that much history on the aircraft. It's a major contradiction to the Gee Bee. I can find just about any information on that aircraft, yet nothing on the preceding years Bendix Trophy winner. (This aircraft.)

I talked to a guy at my LHS, and he said I could call the Smithsonian for plans. (As a start.)

Any other suggestions from those that have built their own aircraft?

Paul Matt scale drawing books from Air Age I think. has good drawings and a couple of photos. The EAA museum has a replica.

i was wondering if you ever came across another kit, or just the plans i realy would like to build that plane....
