Servo Hatch Question....

Good Afternoon Friends,

I am sitting here looking at the wing for my AT-6 (WingMFG 40 size kit) and trying to figure out the best way to mount the aileron servos (one for each side.)

I figured that I would cut a hole in the foam wing (already mounted the spar and sheeted the wing) and epoxy some servo mounts into the pocket and then just screw the servo into the mounts and build a servo cover that would screw into another set of mounts.

- but then I got to thinking -

I have seen applications where the servo is actually mounted to the servo hatch and then the hatch is attached to the wing via screws that attach to mounts that have been epoxied to the wing core.

My question...
Is there a preferred method? (Attaching the Servo to wing and cover it with a hatch or attach the Servo to hatch and firmly attach the hatch to the wing.)

Any recommendations, articles, etc. are appreciated.

Thanks
TRP
