engine mounting
 

Are there any considerations to mounting an engine sideways? I know I need to keep the thrust line correct no matter how the engine is rotated, but what else? It goes between nine and ten o'clock. What else?

Down is good
 

Make sure the exhaust port is pointing down. I'm not trying to be funny as obvious as this may sound but I have seen the exhaust port pointed up and it caused just the problems that immediately come to your mind.
