40 size stick kits? all arfs

I looking for a 40 size Stick kit, the GP Big stick or TT tiger stick style. If I have to get an arf I think I will get the GP 40 big stick, the only thing I want to know is are the ailerons groved like a WW1 fighters are.

XB-

From the manual, it appears that they are scalloped or "grooved". I don't know if you want them scalloped or not. I prefer them not scalloped.

I bought a GP Big Stik 40 (kit version) at an auction last week. The builder built it with straight ailerons. It flies great and I highly recommend it.

If you want one without scallops, you could always make new ailerons from balsa aileron stock. It would be pretty easy to do.

You can get the plans of the original Kraft/Jensen stick from RCM plans. It flys pretty good with a hot 46. It would be a scratch build though. It's a simple plane.

Enjoy,

Jim

My gp stick 40 AFF came scalloped if flies great and looks great. I think that is one thing that makes a stick a stick!
