Plans for Pilot Christen Eagle

1 Attachment(s)
I have just bought a NIB Pilot Christen Eagle. A verry nice kit from a well known manufacturer. My only problem is that the plans for the wing construction is missing... May be anybody have a copy? I have the small Christen Eagle 40-60 size.

I have the same kit, only I need a complete set of plans and building instructions. If I find a set I could try and help you out.

Bill, I've got the kit and are building the plane.
However, I don't have any building instruction and I don't think there are any.
I bought my kit from a Hobby shop in the 93 or 94 and it't been lying on the shelf since then.

Just found out that Fiberglss Specialties do the cowl for this kit, I have to confirm on the wheel fairings,.....thats great news as I now don't have to build my cowl, I can keep it in tact! :D:D

It is not manufactured anymore. You need to find a second hand kit or find the plans and build from scratch.

I just picked up one of these great kits from my Uncle.... I will be starting consturction here in a week or so... I have both sets of plans.... but, I can't beleive how short the directions are.... Two whole paragraphs on the wing construction page. That's ok... I looks like the plans are specific enough to do the whole build.

Are any of you finished with your kits..????? Did any of you keep the hard wood engine mounts???? Can you still get the fiberglass cowl and wheel pants from FG Specialties????

Thanks for the help.

I just checked with Fiberglass Specialties and they have cowl and spats for this kit.
I will order some.

Hey guys/gals,

Saw this thread and thot I'd let you all know that I have an original 1979 Christen Eagle Pilot that has not been started. It was given to me, however, I have no need for it as I'm into RC trucks. If anyone is interested in it let me know. If you'd like to check it out......I have just listed it on eBay....auction #330206059766. I will sell it offline too. Thanks

Bill
