Flaperons in a AreoMaster

I'm in the Process of my second Super AeroMaster and like to know if anyone has rigged flaperons in this type of airframe.

the servo lays on its side in the center of the wing using a push-pull setup on the ailerons.

I was thinking of using low profile servos side by side but i'm not sure. Any Ideas would be much appreciated

Flaperons in a AreoMaster

I am almost finished my super aeromaster, will post pictures when done. I installed a servo in each wing, fit no problem. I plug each servo into the receiver separately, allows me to use flaprons. I also made my with ailerons on the top wing and increased the size of rudder and elevator. I have installed a 91FX sideways, waiting for my Bisson Pitts muffler to arrive. I hope it will be good 3d airplane :D Only thing left is to mount the top wing it seems to have far too much negative incidence, did you have any problems in that area?

Flaperons in a AreoMaster

No, the Top Wing on my old one was -1 deg. I really didn't have any problems with the kit in general. I had a Rossi 60 in my last one and it screamed a 91 might be just a little over kill LOL :D

Send me Pictures if you would I would like to see how you did the Top ailerons and the servo mount. sounds like a nice setup. I have a pic of my old one in my gallery

Aeromaster 60

I'm about to start covering my Aeromaster. Not planning on flaperons. A 1 deg (neg) incidence is needed for the top wing. I had to shim the hard wood slot to get this. Having trouble getting a suitable throttle linkage because of the elevation difference between the engine and servo. I'm using a ST 61 ring. I went with outer struts and version 3 (52"/52"). Let me know your final weight w/engine!
