Help with nosen aeronca kit
 

Hello,
I am looking for someone who has built one of these older Bud Nosen .40 size kits.
I have noticed that the end rib R3 sticks up higher on the building board than any of the other ribs. Is this the way its supposed to be? The old instruction sheet or pictures don't talk about it or show it very well. I have written AA industires twice asking for clarification or newer directions but they haven't returned anything. If you have put one of these together can I get some input from you?

I'm not exactly for sure on the 40 size but on the 1/4 scale champion I had the wingtips slope upward if this is what your talking about. So that is probably right if it's the same and I think it would be. Hope this helps.
