GP PT-ELECTRIC CONVERSION

I was cleaning out the basement the other day and came across a great planes PT-electric trainer. Don't remember where I got the thing but was wondering would it be possible to convert this plane over to glow? What size engine would be needed to fly it. I think the weight is about 45oz ready to fly.

GP PT-ELECTRIC CONVERSION

A .15 engine should be fine for gentle flying. Harry Higley says the fuselage is weak so you should beef up the nose for the vibration of a piston engine. I would trash the nose gear and move the main gear back and fly as a taildragger. And Keith Shaw recommends not using the excessive washout called for in the plans - use less.
