If it is the KBRC-1 they fly great but are not a quick built as an arf. compared to a CGB but not as forgiving:eek:

RE: SIG Super Chipmunk Stunt ship
if memory serves me correct that is a control line plane. i have never flown or built one but i have seen a couple in capable hands and they fly really good. Always wanted to get one but ended up with the sig mustang stunter instead.

RE: SIG Super Chipmunk Stunt ship
The Sig Super Chipmunk is a control liner. I have seen one of these converted to RC but you will be in for some challenges. Though I have not built this plane, I used to do CL. Many CL planes (especial stunt) are designed specifically for control line. This means that the inside wing (this would be flying counter clockwise) may be 1/2" or so longer. Additionally, the fuselage will probably be narrow as compared to the actual real aircraft. CL wing position tends to be more centered on the plane lengthwise this is because the plane is designed to only go up and down while keeping the lines taught.
Good luck and let us know how your mods come along. |
RE: SIG Super Chipmunk Stunt ship
I wish that i had known that before i bought it but i guess it is my own fault for not doing some more checking up on it. However on Raidentech's website they have it listed and there is nothing about control line. Oh well build it fly it thats what i'll do.
thanks for the help Flyboy76 |

RE: SIG Super Chipmunk Stunt ship
Sig made two kits of the Chippy what is the KIT #
If it is the control line model make sure you build the wing the same on both side and you can bash it to RC and it will fly great, just a little cramped for space for gear. |
RE: SIG Super Chipmunk Stunt ship
Own one fly one, most difficult build I have done but is the best U-Control plane I hav done. I fly it with a OS Max .40
