Which 108" cub? why?

I want to build a cub. I want the 108" size and I also think Ill build an extra clipped set of wings for the same plane.
My question is which is the best kit out there. Someone nearby is offering a Nosen kit which doesnt seem like a bad deal, but, Im wondering what the differences are between the available kits?
What comes with the kits normally, cowl, landing gear ect.?
Any guidance would be most helpfull and greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

flap,

I have the Nosen version and would not necessarily recommend it. It comes out on the heavy side and it is very much a 'builder's' kit (a lot of work). Mine has quite a bit of scale built in (L4) that will add some weight, the all up heft is 22#. Balances just right with a Quadra 42 in the nose.

That all said, it is a pleasure to fly. Has been through a tremendous amount of use, and abuse, and is always begging for more. I have been flying it for about 11 years. Flown long cross-country events 3 times with it. It remains my favority.

Confused commentary, but what can I say.

If you're gonna build two sets of wings, a good idea btw, it'll be better to go with a kit that uses "plug in" type wing attachment from the side (i.e., aluminum tube spar) instead of the "bolt-on" type from the top. Aligning bolt holes and dowl pins on the second set of bolt-on wings would be more difficult.

My $0.02.
