Sig Senior Kit
Thinking of building a Sig Senior kit but with no dihedral, a perfectly flat wing, I will be adding ailerons. Any thoughts on the straight wing?

RE: Sig Senior Kit
I had a one and a half block under one wing tip and went with that . The plane was 6 when it died at the hands of another. I liked this small ammount of Dihedril as it helped center the plane in windy conditions. Make no mistake this was not your average Sr., taildragger, 61 2 stroke big tires so I could fly as soon as the snow starts to leave the runway....... am building another like it except for simi-semetrical wing ribs.
Did an outside loop with the first one. |

I'm also making this a tail dragger with an O.S. Surpass 70 four stroke. I'm attempting to make this as acrobatic as possible. Something along the lines of a Taylor Craft. I know, I know just build a Taylor Craft. I like to be different.

RE: Sig Senior Kit
I wouldn't build it with a flat wing but I only put about an inch under each wing tip. I made it a tail dragger, put hard points in the wings, flaps, an OS .91 4C and set it up so I could put different modules in the fuse such as a candy drop box or electronics for a rocket launcher or a camera. The servos are all out in the wings and fuse. It flies great and doesn't weigh much over the stock configuration. Everyone should have one of these. BTW there is a Kadet fly-in in Dalton, GA the last weekend in October. Should be interesting but I doubt it will be high pressure.
