Top Flite Bonanza

Is there anyone out there who built a T/F Bonanza and didn't use the supplied non retract landing gear?

I have one that I'm currently rebuilding, and someone has reworked the landing gear.

This aircraft sits almost one foot off the ground, and I know that's not right.

Anybody out there have the original gear that they can measure for me? I need both the nose and mains measurements.

If you could e-mail the measurements to me at the address below I would really appreciate it.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dennis,
The plans show 4.5 inches from the bottom of the main wheel to the bottom of the wing and around 5.25 inches at the nose wheel.

Thanks for the quick comeback. Jeff.

At least I now have a benchmark to use. I am a little concerned that 4.5 inches might be too short.

I was hoping for someone who actually used the supplied gear to measure the same for me.

If I don't hear from anybody else, I guess I'll go with the 4.5 inches.

Thanks again, much appreciated.

Dennis,

Just go to the Top Flite website and download the manual. The manuals usually have reduced size
plans in the center section and you can figure from that or enlarge them to full size and that will
surely help you.
