Spinner for Top Flite AT-6 Texan?
I recently purchased a built Texan from a friend, but he didn't have the plans available. I am trying to find out what spinner type and diameter the kit calls for. Anyone out there have their plans handy?

You need a prop hub, not a spinner. Harry Higley makes nice ones.

It depends on your engine, you buy it based on the crankshaft threads...essentially it replaces your prop nut and acts as a spinner at the same time. Which engine do you have?

O.S. 91 4-stroke. I think it uses 5/16-24 thread.

Yes it is 5/16 thread, you need the Higley aluminum spinner hub, SPN516.
The Tru-Turn AT-6 spinners are nice, but will be about ten times more expensive. If you are trying to keep this plane very scale then the Tru-Turn might be worth it, otherwise go with the Higley hub. |

Higley hub may look fine, but I would suggest the Tru-turn if you can use the jam-nut adapter. On a four stroke you need to be concerned with the nut loosening and losing your prop and hub.
