Dynaflight Decathlon Question

I am about to start on a Dynaflight Decathlon and I was wondering if a Saito 1.80 four stroke would be a good choice. I know it could be flown with a 25- 35cc gasser to add nose weight but I really don't want to go that route. I would like to have scale-like performance with the plane...NO 3D stuff. Thanks , Skip

RE: Dynaflight Decathlon Question

I think the Saito should do fine, though I have never used one. It is going to spin an 18" prop and that will get you going with authority. True, the Saito will be lighter that a gasser (mine flies with a Quadra 42), but likely you will need the weight anyway.

Have fun!

RE: Dynaflight Decathlon Question

The Saito will have enough power.

Move everything you can forward so you are not adding much lead.

Will need a 24 oz tank

Enjoy,

Jim
